My son and I have a stock '98 E36 with 15" wheels and a stock suspension. The suspension needs to be replaced so we are looking at something with better performance than stock while lowering the ride height. The car has stock 15" wheels, which we are also thinking about replacing with larger 17" rims & tires. Are we heading into trouble doing this? I don't want to have to put a ton of camber into the chassis to make the larger tires fit. How big can we go if we are looking at dropping the car about an inch from stock ride height?
