Every since i bought my car i have been pursuing a fix to why my m30 gets hot very quickly and doesnt stop getting hotter. I have driven the car up and down my driveway twice and i was driving in and out of my garage about 10 times getting the clutch and brakes where i wanted them. And the car was running for about a half hour. But the otherday i had it idleing for no more than 10 minuites when i found that coolant was leaking and the hoses were almost to the point of melting.
So far i have replaced the hoses, water pump and thermostat with all OEM parts. I have also drained the coolant and the radiator. Next up to do is get a new radiator because it looked as if it was leaking a little bit from around the bleeder screw. Yes the screw was closed.
I am now begining to get really annoied as well as conserned about my headgasket springing a leak. So i am back here on the forum again trying to figure out why my m30 is still over heating.
