Uncontrolled internal temp

Hi, I have an ongoing issue with not being able to automatically control the internal temp in my 118d m sport 2010 with dual zone AC.

The cooling works correctly on maximum cold and the car basically gets too hot when in normal or auto mode.

The auto setting does not seam to work. Any ideas how to fault find.
