Hey guys, my commute to work this morning was a drizzly one, and initially the wipers were working fine on my 2003 525i. I pulled over to buy a coffee (left the car running with the wipers on interval while i ran inside), came back out and the wipers weren't doing anything. None of the controls on the wiper stalk were responding either, mist, washer fluid, the high intensity wash button; nothing. Fortunately it wasn't raining enough to REALLY need the wipers but finally about 5 minutes later they started working like normal again. Any idea if this was just a temporary gaff or sign of an impending failure of some component? If I had to guess, I think it might've been an issue with the wiper stalk itself, seeing how nothing was responding to it for a few minutes.
