BMW 530i M54 ZF 2003 127k - post atf transmission change shift problems
changed ATF, filter with a drain and fill and gasket replacement and NOW the tranny shifts late.
dropped pan this time. prior to change it was AWESOME !
will do second drain and fill via plug and expect 5-6 qt change. Redline D4.
i have had an intermittent P0741 and hoped an ATF change would fix it. hope its not the Torque converter.
i origionally raised the temp from 60F to 70F when filling. This time i'll warm up EXACTLY like the advise sais.
Will advise how it works.
Looks like a TC leak, but the color of dribble is engine oil color and not at all like tranny so i might be ok on the tc seal. <hopeful>
