Hello everyone recently my fathers 7 has developed an engine tapping that occurs from 2000-3000 rpm. We have already checked for guide material in the oil pan, which was not present. Also the tapping only occurs while in gear, and particularly while going up hills. I am confused as to where the origin of the tapping is or what to attribute it to.
