She's a 1991 850i/6, with 55k miles on the clock. Haven't named her yet, thought I'd drive her around some more and get a feel for her. :P
I'm going to keep this thing for a while, and decided to never try to make it something it isn't. I know it'll never be as quick as my 540i, so there really isn't any point trying. There are some things I'd love to get fixed with/on the car, but I'm never going to go insane and try to twin turbo the thing.
Currently on wishlist:
- UUC short shifter w/DSSR. I've already tried this combo on my 540i and it is wonderful, if a bit overpriced.
- 3.25 final drive LSD differential. I don't think this needs any explaining. :P I have both a 3.25 and 3.73 large case diffs, but 3.73 is ridonkolously short on this car I think.
- If I can find OEM lowering springs, off a sportier model, I'd love those. If not, I'd like springs that only drop 1.5cm or so. Don't want to start scraping everywhere I go, but I don't want the front higher than the back as it always is on these cars.
- I'm not touching the intakes. :P
- A custom dyno tune.
That's about it. Anything more than those is a high $$$ and time investment right now, and I am balls deep in restoring/rebuilding a Fox Mustang for racing use. Recently married also means I have to allocate SOME money to the house. :P
I'd like guidance as to exhaust, however. I don't want to straight pipe the thing, but it's so quiet in stock form. My 540i would send a chill through my spine! Here's a sample:
So I don't want something that loud, but something with a bit more presence than stock. Any advice/links/videos to share with me? I'd be grateful.
Otherwise, it's nice to meet you all. I feel truly blessed to have one of my bucket list cars at the age of 27. It's so wonderful. I love driving it. :D

I don't know how or why, but I cannot for the life of me upload the photos of the 8. It shows up in the preview, but not in the post. I tried half a dozen times. Uploading it from PC always says it fails as well.

Ok. Sorry for re-posting same images, but the person who wrote the code for the fucking image uploading needs to be shot. I am so angry at it right now. :P
