How tight should I tighten the coolant bleeder screw? Is there a proper way? For instance, once the rubber o-ring makes contact, tighten x number of turns?
I have a coolant leak that accumulates on the edge of the expansion bottle. The o-ring was missing from the bleeder screw, so I bought one and installed. But it's still leaking. Tightened 1/4 turn more, then checked with the engine warmed up and running (after drive to work), no leaks. Drove home after work, found coolant again on the edge of exp. bottle.
