Help ID this part and its function

Hi guys



I replaced the lines from the fuel filler neck that go into the plastic vapor tank inside the trunk but there is still a smell of petrol when i fill up.



There is one more pipe and tank that i dont know its function and im hoping you guys can help me.















One pipe goes into the main fuel lines in the body and another goes into a valve. Im guessing this is the front vapor tank similar to the plastic one in the rear? The shark in question is an 83 633 Jap spec
