WTT: My E39 OEM Hella HID Angel Eyes for Your 1998-2000 OEM Halogens
I'm probably selling my E39 and my upgrades are not going to affect the sale price much so I'm parting some things out:
My OEM Hella HID Angel Eyes from a 2003 M5, with OEM Hella HIDs to trade for your 1998-2003 headlights. I don't care if they're halogen or OEM, pre- or post-facelift. We'll figure out the pricing based on what you have. My full lights will plug and play into any E39 from 1998-2003, including the HIDs.
The lights originally come from a 2003 M5 and have 3M protective film on them so they're in great shape, but the film itself started hazing so I removed it from the drivers side then got sidetracked. So the drivers side lens is a little faded and can benefit from a DIY refinish, while the passenger's side film is faded but the lens is great if you remove the film...but then that lens will be unprotected. Best thing is to remove the passenger film, refinish the driver lens, then put new film on both. Adjusters are in full working condition, OEM HIDs work great. The condition is reflected in the pictures, and ignore the dirty car itself, the lights are cleaner.
I've compared the cost of OEM facelift lights and the OEM HID system here, on eBay and Craigslist and came up with the following scenarios for trade.
If you have a:
-1998-2000 pre-facelift with halogens: trade +$500
-1998-2000 with OEM HIDs: trade +$300
-2001-2003 facelift with halogens: trade +$200
It's gonna be local pickup only in LA/West Covina since we have to swap parts. Please take a look at the pics and I'll answer any questions.
