Alternate shocks to Bilstein's?

I've been running Bilstein's on my 840 and while I do appreciate the firm, controlled ride, they are a bit overly stiff over bad winter roads and back roads. I did try and search the US for a different shock (Koni's) and found just about everybody sells just the Bilsteins. I also do not want to put the car up on blocks and wait for a re-valve job as others have done. Plus, it ain't cheap!

Has anyone purchased auto parts from these guys and found the shipping to be reasonable? At least the parts could go DHL.
